Supporting a creator
How to support a creator on Sanctum: following, paid tiers, direct payment or credits, tips, unlocking posts, messaging, wishlists and good supporter habits.
Start by following
Every creator on Sanctum has a free Follow tier. Following costs nothing, needs no approval and puts the creator's free posts in your feed. It is the simplest way to show interest, and for many supporters it is where things begin.
Paid tiers are optional upgrades the creator may offer. Each one comes with whatever the creator has decided to include: more content, closer access, or a different kind of relationship.
Two ways to pay
Directly. Creators list their own payment links, such as Tuppence, PayPal or Cash App. You pay through the link, then submit a request on Sanctum with the method you used and a reference. The creator confirms and unlocks the tier, post or service. Sanctum takes nothing from this money, so every cent reaches the creator.
With credits. Credits are optional. You buy a credit pack, and then unlocking a post, tipping, subscribing or paying for a message happens instantly, with no waiting for confirmation. Creators who accept credits cash them out. Credits suit small, frequent support; direct payment suits larger or more personal purchases. Many supporters use both.
What you can do
- Subscribe to a paid tier for ongoing access.
- Unlock pay-per-view posts individually, whether or not you subscribe.
- Tip whenever a creator does something you appreciate. Tips are recorded straight away.
- Message. Some creators keep messaging free; others ask for credits per conversation or per message. The creator's profile makes clear which.
- Buy a wishlist gift. Creators can list things they would like. You buy privately and no address is ever shared.
- Commission custom services when a creator offers them.
Being a supporter creators value
Creators remember the supporters who treat them well, and it shapes what they are willing to offer.
- Read the profile before you message. It will tell you what the creator offers and how they like to be approached.
- Pay for what you ask for. Requests for free content, discounts or proof are tiresome and rarely answered.
- Keep your reference details accurate when paying directly, so the creator can confirm quickly.
- Respect limits. A creator's no is final, and pushing it is the fastest route to being blocked.
- Do not share or redistribute content. It is the creator's living.
For supporters in a D/s dynamic with a creator, Sanctum's tasks and rewards let a Dominant assign tasks, track completion and issue rewards without money changing hands.
If anything goes wrong, blocking and reporting are available, and every report is read by a person.
