How creators earn on Sanctum

Every way a creator earns on Sanctum: direct payment links with nothing taken, optional credits, paid tiers, pay-per-view, messages, tips and wishlists.

The principle

Sanctum is free to use, and it is built so that money flows from supporters to creators as directly as possible. There are two ways a creator can be paid, and most use both.

Direct payment links. Every creator can add their own payment links, such as Tuppence, PayPal or Cash App. Supporters pay through those links and Sanctum takes nothing from that money. When a supporter pays this way, they tell the creator which method they used and give a reference, and the creator confirms and unlocks whatever was bought. This is the backbone of how Sanctum works, and it means a creator's income is theirs.

Credits. Credits are optional for both sides. Supporters buy credit packs, then spend credits to unlock posts, tip, subscribe or pay for messages instantly, without waiting for a creator to confirm anything. Creators who choose to accept credits cash them out at 75 cents per credit. Credits make small, frequent payments easy; direct links suit larger or more personal ones.

The ways to earn

  • Subscription tiers. Every creator has a free Follow tier so anyone can follow them. Paid tiers are optional and can be added at any price the creator chooses, with whatever content and access they decide to include.
  • Pay-per-view posts. Individual posts can be locked so that supporters pay to open them, whether they subscribe or not.
  • Paid messaging. Creators can require credits to start a conversation, require credits per message, or leave messaging free. This lets a creator decide how much of their attention is available and on what terms.
  • Tips. Supporters can tip at any time, through direct links or with credits.
  • Custom services. Creators can offer custom work: a personalised video, a task set, a written piece, a session, or whatever they choose to make available.
  • Wishlists. A creator can list gifts they would like. Supporters buy them privately, with no address ever shared.
  • Scheduled posts help a creator keep a steady presence without being online every day, which keeps subscribers engaged.

Beyond the platform

Sanctum has two sister sites. A creator can open a clip store on VestaVids and a dating profile on VestaDate in one click from their Sanctum account, giving them more places to be found without starting from scratch.

Trust and verification

Photo verification lets a creator show that they are who they say they are, which matters to supporters deciding where to spend. Blocking and reporting are available to everyone, reports are read by a person, and the whole platform sits behind an 18+ gate.
